Location Description
Colonel Samuel Smith Park is an urban park in Toronto, and a former weekend get-away destination for Victorian Torontonians. This park is located along a stretch of wooded shoreline in the Kipling and Lakeshore area. It is home to a variety of plants, trees, birds and other wildlife. Pond and wetlands with observation deck. Beach area, marina, and rocky waterfront along Lake Ontario. Sports field and picnic area. As well, there area a network of paths and the city's only ice skating trail. The skating trail is located next to the Power House Recreation Centre (65 Colonel Samual Smith Park Road), which houses an indoor skate changing area.
