Location Description
Located in the central commercial district of Stratford, the 1900 dark red brick Jacobean/Queen Anne Revival-styled city hall sits on a triangular town square bordered by Downie and Wellington Streets and Market Place. The building has 3 sections with the central portion hexagonal and each end of the building having a dodecagonal base. There are columns and a moulded cornice at the main entrance with paneled chimneys, a cupola and a circular clock tower. The main entrance faces north east.
