Location Description
Riverwalk Park is a paved asphalt trail that hugs the shore of the St. Lawrence River. It opened in 2015 as part of a $2.5 millions waterfront revitalization project that transformed the area into a community greenspace. It maintains a nautical theme throughout, with historical artifacts on display, including a ship’s anchor and cannon and even the children’s playground features a pirate ship design. This path passes by notable landmarks of the city, such as the Kinsmen Amphitheatre and Sandra S. Lawn Marina. Its amenities include benches dotted along the trail, washrooms, and parking space.
