Location Description
The Oshawa Port is owned by the Hamilton Port Authority, and includes mooring for multiple large ships. The Port is located beside Lakeshore Park in Oshawa, and includes a long pier between the Park beach and the Harbour, various silos for salt, grain and cement storage, and a large white curved tent storage building that is empty for much of the year. The Port accommodates 50-70 ships per year. Beside the Port area are various downscale industrial looks, large parking lots and city parkland.
