Location Description
Established in 1803, St Lawrence Market has over 120 specialty merchants and vendors. Market Street, the street immediately west of St. Lawrence Market, is a short one-way street that runs from Front Street East south to where it dead-ends at the railway tracks south of The Esplanade. The St. Lawrence Market's west facade has two levels, with one level at grade with Front Street East with a cafe-style look with numerous benches, chairs and tables. The lower level is at grade with Market Street and has numerous vendor stalls, some tables and chairs and a couple of loading docks. The second floor features a kitchen event space and dining area. The Temporary North Market is located at 125 The Esplanade. It is there year round with approximately 9000 sq ft of floor space.
