Location Description First Nations School of Toronto was formerly Eastern Commerce Collegiate Institute until 2015. Large 1925 building with that shares space with Subway Academy. Light wood wainscotting at entrance doors. Two-storey auditorium with balcony and projection room. Cafeteria with servery, kitchen, and small courtyard. Three gyms, classrooms, hallways, main office, library, science labs, weight room, and abandoned pool. 1970s style wing added. Part of xoTO/TDSB pilot program.
Location Notes Part of xoTO/TDSB pilot program. Special daily rate card and 72-hour permit turnaround available (not including scouting times/days); $50 processing fee applies. A scouting fee does not apply.
Feedback 18 May 22- Currently TDSB allows both filming and scouting outside school instructional hours. Classrooms are available during the weekend, Stat Holidays and will also be available in summer in schools where there will be no summer programs running. There is no classroom access Monday to Friday.
