Rural 19th century Ontario historic village, 1860. Homes, workshops, farms, fields, lanes, roadways, ponds, river, orchard and gardens. Pioneer log cabins with fireplaces, bake ovens, rustic furnishings and tools. Settler farmstead with outbuildings, including smokehouse, piggery, chicken house and barns. Roblin’s Flour Mill - a stone structure with massive wooden machinery. Victorian brick farmhouse. Greek Revival church, cemetery, Mennonite Meeting Hall, one-room school house. Inn and restaurant, general store. Burwick House, a finely furnished home with a landscaped garden, stable, stable yard and carriage shed. Doctor’s home, office and medicinal garden. Blacksmith’s shop, tinsmith shop, print shop, weaver’s shop, harness shop and broom maker’s shop. A heritage project of the Toronto and Region Conservation Authority.
