Location Description
The Old Dock Dive Site is a popular visitor attraction situated on the bank of the St. Lawrence River, a part of Prescott’s Riverwalk Park. Built in 1812 and then renovated in 1827, it was historically used as a flea market, and some lost items can still be found in the water nearby.
There are two sunken lifeboats 300 feet offshore that offer shelter to a diverse set of marine life that can be seen year round. The depth around the Old Dock site doesn’t exceed 25 feet, and the current is minimal, which makes this a favorite spot for beginning divers.
