Location Description
Lamoureux Park is a massive waterfront park running along the shore of the St. Lawrence River in the centre of Cornwall. The park features many points of interest including Marina 200, Cornwall Aquatic Centre, Cornwall Civic Complex, Cornwall Curling Centre, Lions' Club Bandshell, Citizen of the Year Walkway, Cornwall Community Museum, splash pad, a public boat lunch, the Rotary Eco-Gardens and the Waterfront Trail, among others. The parking lot at the Civic Complex (which is situated inside the park) provides ample space for logistics and support services for a production, and the venue itself is great for indoor productions. It has been used most recently as the rehearsal centre for the brand new Cirque du Soleil production Axel. The varied terrain and spacious layout of the park make it ideal for outdoor productions.
