Location Description
Formal Victorian Park created in 1830. It is a full city block in size and has pathways laid out in the formation of the Union Jack meeting in the centre of the park where there is a large monument of Joseph Brant erected in 1886. Significant buildings overlook the park including the Brant County Courthouse (1852), the Brant Community Church (1883), St Andrews United Church (1859) and the Carnegie Library (1904). The park has period lighting and wrought iron park benches and an 1892 drinking fountain for people to use.
