Location Description
Woodside National Historic Site features a one and a half storey Gothic Revival brick home, built in 1853, situated on 11.5 acres of wooded grounds, gardens and lawn with small pond and original driveway through woodland. There are wood floors, period wallpaper and furnishings. The main floor vestibule has linoleum flooring and the kitchen has a cast iron stove with separate pantry. There is a formal dining room and parlour with grand piano and library all with period furnishings, books and decor. The second floor has 5 bedrooms with original furniture. On the property there is a modern picnic shelter with washrooms and large parking lot.
