Location Description
Almonte is a former mill town located in Lanark County, in the eastern portion of Ontario, Canada. Retains much of its 19th-century architecture in the downtown core including the former 1889 post office and Old Town Hall. The Mississippi River runs through the town with a picturesque waterfall from Almonte Street Bridge. Home to North Lanark Agricultural Society with a clubhouse, fairgrounds, and grandstand.
