Location Description
Situated on 40 hectares the park is bounded by Queen Street East on the southeast, Bramalea Road on the northeast, and Central Park Drive on the north and west sides. Mount Chinguacousy has 3 ski hills, T-bar lifts for skiers, and a chalet that houses a viewing lounge, washrooms, event space with boardroom, auditorium and meeting rooms. Modern kidney-shaped skating rink with rentals from a Victorian house. Large modern compression room. The exterior viewing decks overlook 23 beach volleyball courts, a skateboard park, and the sky hill. There are 6 asphalt tennis courts (winter bubble installed September to April) adjacent to the two level curling arena which includes 6 ice sheets, viewing lounge with fireplace, kitchen, bar and change rooms. The Brampton-Terry Fox Track and Field Stadium has complete track and field features including a 400 metre 8 lane track and bleachers seating 876. The score clock with video board is operated from the press box. The artificial turf field is marked for both soccer and football. Additional to the park is a large red barn with petting zoo. The greenhouse holds gardens and a wedding chapel. There are playgrounds, splash pad, mini golf and picnic shelters. The pavilion overlooking the north pond has a patio as well as a viewing lounge with concession facilities, fireplace and paddle boats with docks. There is an amphitheatre and hiking trails.
