Location Description
Five-story complex and home of the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) which opened on September 12, 2010. A super-scaled Douglas Fir canopy stretches along the King Street facade. Upper surfaces of the building are a series of glass panels against which the shadows of people moving within are cast, creating a cinematic dimension to the exterior. Views of the CN Tower. Features a main floor 3-storey atrium, open stairways and walk overs. 2 galleries, 3 learning studios, 5 cinemas, box office, TIFF Shop, Blackberry Lounge and Founders Lounge. Bell Blue Room is private for members. Film Reference Library and Canadian Film Gallery are located on the 4th floor. 6th floor Malparte Terrace features a large functional sculpture staircase. Rooftop patio with staircase at an end climbing another storey. Restaurant and Bistro are not owned and operated by TIFF.
